Major Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate and determine optimal facility layouts, process workflows, labor allocation, and material handling equipment designs for both new and existing warehouses
Responsible for deliverable and presentation of results and recommendations to stakeholders
Conduct analysis, design, and procurement activities for new facilities and support start-ups
Work closely with internal teams to establish and elevate Expeditors’ warehouse standards, emphasizing modernity, efficiency, and high-quality facilities
Perform customer analysis responses with detailed facility layouts, visual processes and infrastructure requirements
Disseminate warehousing best practices across geographic region
Explore emerging warehouse technologies, assess their applicability, and execute feasible projects
Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelors in related engineering field
One – four (1-4) years of industry specific qualification
Strong presentation, analytical, and communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely
Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and OneNote
Willing to travel (up to 50% of the time)
Expected base salary: $72,000 – $100,000
Eligible for bonus
